“Creativity can never be indifferent. Creativity cares — because creativity is love. Creativity is the function of love and care. Creativity cannot be indifferent. If you are indifferent, by and by all your creativity will disappear. Creativity needs passion, aliveness, energy. Creativity needs that you should remain a flow, an intense, passionate flow.”

Creativity & Meditative Art

The Creativity and Meditative Art approach that I offer is based on the ART THERAPY AND PAINTING process that Meera Hashimoto has developed over 40 years and is ultimately based on Osho’s vision of creativity.

A creative act, in this understanding, is born out of a silence within us, it has spontaneity and we will be surprised by ourselves. True creativity happens, when we become more sensitive, more open, more alive. We let existence flow through us and express itself through our hands - we become just like a passage, like a hollow bamboo. We tap into a state of being, into meditation - non-serious, joyful, innocent, loving. When we experience this in painting, we can bring the same quality also into our life - to anything that we are doing.

By nature, we are all creative, to live means to be creative. But because of our conditioning and what has happened in our life, when we grew up, we become blocked, we are afraid to express our nature and show ourselves.

In my workshops, I offer a safe and nourishing space to explore painting as a form of meditation and self-exploration. These workshops are not about learning to paint in a traditional sense — they are about giving yourself permission to be authentic, to feel, to express, and to rediscover your aliveness and the joy of creativity, without pressure or expectation. Besides painting we include meditation, dance, body exercises, group dynamics, therapeutic exercises and personal sharing. The workshop program includes: Primal Painting, Portrait Painting, Creativity of the Inner Man/Inner Woman and Painting in Nature.

Living Creativity and Joy

In meditative art and creativity workshops we bring awareness to the source from which our actions arise and connect with our innocence, sensitivity and aliveness. We explore what is our passion and authentic creative expression  - not only in painting, but in our life.

Living our creativity helps us to let go of the past and orients us to the future. Painting is a mirror that helps us to see our unconscious motivations and tendencies. It allows our unconscious to be released and at the same time it is very healing for our heart.
