„A totally new kind of education is needed in the world where fundamentally everybody is introduced into the silences of the heart - in other words, into meditation - and where everybody has to be prepared to be compassionate to his or her own body.“
Osho
Meditation
In the vision of Osho, meditation is not a technique or a goal to be achieved — it's a natural state of being that arises when we are fully present, relaxed, and open to life. Rather than striving to control the mind or suppress thoughts, Osho invites us to be total and witness everything that arises within us with acceptance and love.
He understood that for the modern person — restless, stressed, and carrying many layers of conditioning — traditional silent meditation can be difficult. That's why he developed OSHO Active Meditations: powerful, structured processes that help us release physical and emotional tension, making it easier to drop into stillness and watchfulness. Two of the most well-known Active Meditations are for example OSHO Kundalini Meditation and OSHO Dynamic Meditation. These meditations are a bridge: they begin with movement, breath, sound, expression, dance or catharsis — and gradually lead us into silence, presence, and deep inner peace.
There are also many other significant meditation methods that can help us to gently turn our attention inwards and come into the present moment. For example, the 112 techniques described in the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra. A meditation technique can be as simple as sensing the body, feeling its subtle movements or bringing awareness to the breath.
In my sessions and workshops, Meditation is an essential part of the process and supports the inner work of healing and insight.
Awareness and Letting Go
Meditation is a state of awareness in which we touch something inside us that is deeper than our thoughts, desires and hopes. We come in contact with our inner being.
In our daily life we usually are not aware of our being, we are too preoccupied with the outer world, with activities and ideas, with other people and our feelings, our wanting, our thoughts and fears.
When we discover our inner being, a state of self-acceptance, self-love arises and we realize, that the peace and fulfillment we were searching outside of ourselves is an intrinsic part of our nature.
