“In gratitude, we leave the past behind us and regain wholeness and inner strength. This growing up from the blind love of a child to the mature love of a conscious adult also leads to a more meditative lifestyle, to an inner centering where love grows out of our ability to be alone and joyful.”

Family Constellation

Family constellation was originally developed by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger in the 1990s. The method, as I use it, was refined and expanded by Psychologist Svagito Liebermeister, who integrated elements of meditation and spiritual growth into his approach, offering a holistic path to healing and transformation.

In a constellation session, a “picture” of the client's system is created using stand-ins (representatives) for family members or other important people. In individual sessions, cushions or other symbols can represent the positions of family members/members of the system. Through the position and spontaneous movement of the representatives, we can recognize hidden dynamics, where there is love, pain or an excluded person in the system and where there are unconscious identifications and entanglements.

The process helps us to gain a new perspective and to recognize and dissolve deeply rooted emotional or energetic blockages. By understanding and deeply accepting what has moved the members of our system and by letting go of our personal desires - healing, love and transformation can happen.

Healing the Roots

Family Constellation or systemic constellation work can be applied to all aspects of life, such as relationships, work and personal growth. It is a powerful method that can help us identify the underlying causes of relationship problems, behavioral patterns, limitations and personal challenges in our live. It gives us a direct experience and shows us how we are connected to the collective energy field of our family, culture or nation and how unresolved traumas of past generations continue to affect our lives.
